CABANATUAN CITY โ The Rotary International District 3770 Area 5 has successfully wrapped up its highly anticipated charity sportsfest event, “Play for a Purpose: Champions in Sports, Heroes in Service,” held to support the Children’s Rehabilitation Center at Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center.
The event brought together Rotarians, athletes, and supporters in a remarkable display of fellowship and service. Participants from various Rotary Clubs within District 3770 Area 5 competed in a range of sporting events, showcasing not only their athleticism but also their dedication to Rotaryโs mission of service above self.
District leaders and club members expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support and participation, which contributed to the event’s resounding success. Proceeds from the sportsfest will be directed toward enhancing the facilities and services at the Children’s Rehabilitation Center, providing much-needed care and support to young patients in the region.
